Beautifully shot in Technicolor, this film shows the tragic story of lovers who have an affair right in front of the evil and abusive husband and who unexpectedly bear a child. They keep telling each other that they will soon elope and run away from everything but they are both incapable of doing it.
The colorful dye and silk make this film more visually stunning and more luscious, a more unbelievable cinematic experience.
