It's not quite a docudrama about 50% of the movie is make-em up. Still it's based on the life of Joy Mangano who invented the Miracle Mop. The movie depicts the early years of QVC and HSN. Joan Rivers is played by her daughter Melissa.
Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper are great as usual. The whole dysfunctional family is both funny and depressing - I loved it.
