Review of Joy (2015) by Togno G — 04 Feb 2016
An enjoyable watch but probably not one that will stay long in the mind. David O. Russell has had great success so far with directing, having two films in the past two years nominated for best picture (Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle) but his third film seems just short of the standard those two displayed.
Jennifer Lawrence is fantastic, as always and I hope she wins the Oscar as she is one of the best actors of our generation.
