David O. Russell's latest feature film focuses on the titular character who is struggling in many areas of life including her family and lack of money. Fortunately, she comes up with an idea for a self-wringing mop and becomes determined to make it a best-selling product.
It's because of her determination and Jennifer Lawrence's performance why Joy is both admirable and inspiring.
