Review of Joy (2015) by Mike V — 04 Feb 2018
This 2015 American biographical comedy-drama film is led by Lawrence in the leading role. It is not an easy sell, to make a movie audience interested in a mop, and the film has a somewhat unusual first quarter, not all of which really ties in with the remainder of the film.
The editing and screenplay were average, which sometimes appeared force and clunky. But overall I did find this an interesting story, though on the grand scale i'm not so sure of its significance.
