In another collaboration with his muse, David O. Russell offers a unique look at a unique story. Despite another formidable performance from Jennifer Lawrence, JOY misses some of that flair seen in Russell's other productions.
Still, the film’s atmosphere is enough to make this life’s journey an enjoyable one.
