Review of Journey to the Centre of the Earth (1977) by Andrew B — 22 Sep 2011
(spoilers follow).
Glad to see this one mostly held up in 2011, lots of thrilling sequences and the characters are compelling. I will say that I thought the piano love musical number was just dated and out of place, and the ending (with the exception of Lindenbrook's speech) felt a little funky and [too] absurd. Other than that, cool flick.
