Journey to the Center of the Earth is a good entertaining movie with a interesting story and good cast. Journey to the Center of the Earth is about is about scientist Trevor Anderson who is following his dead brothers foot steps in finding the center of the Earth while other people doubted him.

Soon he has to watch his nephew Sean and end up going to Iceland were they and their tour guide Hannah climb a mountain. They soon get trapped in a cave and find them selves in the center of the Earth and now they have to find a way out before they get killed by lava or other creatures.

Before I saw this movie I thought it would be a terrible film but it actually came out pretty entertaining. I though the story of this movie was pretty cool but at times in this movie I thought it lacked some thing because there are some moments that should go on for awhile but it just stops after three minutes.

The special effects in this movie were really good and when they were in use it made the movie look so cool and entertaining. The acting in this wasn't that bad either. Brendan Fraser was good in this movie as Trevor who is trying to prove that he isn't crazy and ends up finding what he's been looking for years.

Anita Briem was good in this movie also but Josh Hutcherson was really good in this movie as Sean who is Trevor's nephew who really doesn't care about staying with his uncle but actually has one the best times of his life.

Journey to the Center of the Earth is a good entertaining movie with some lack of story but still a fun time.
