Review of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) by Matthew K — 30 Jul 2012

Entertaining, but still could have been better. These were epic tales and worth an amzing telling. I felt tlike both times they dumbed it down too much and presented it as a kids movie. The target audience should have been older teens and young adults for both, getting them interested in the classic literature that these movies followed.

It would have altered the humor and the quirkyness into more mature emotions that elecit a response. Now to even critique it as a kids movie I feel that its audience was boys ages 8-10. That's it.

Hard to relate for anyone else.
