When The Rock started singing in the middle of the film, I knew this isn't something I wanted to sign up for. Compared to the first one, this one clearly is more uninspiring. Perhaps the trailer has made the whole film look a bit more ambitious than the previous one, but after watching the whole film, particularly Michael Caine acting all jolly and The Rock portraying his family-friendly side, still, this visual fiesta is forgettable and dull.
