Review of Josie and the Pussycats (2001) by Dave C — 08 Mar 2009

Despite the makers protestations, it's hard not to be a little suspicious of the product placement running gag, which is a shame as the supposed anti-consumerist message is refreshing but possibly not music to the ears of the intended audience who failed to make this a success.

Posey is wonderfully creepy, but Cumming lays it all on a little too thick. Of the Pussycats themselves its suprisingly only Reid who shines.
