Review of Josie and the Pussycats (2001) by Leah Z — 06 Jan 2010

I saw _Josie and The Pussycats_ with a friend today. It is a funny and good satire. I saw a comment below that it is "A totally chick flick." I don't know if I can agree to that. There were some jokes in that movie that guys would laugh at to no end. For example the joke with the girl I think her name was Mel holding the signs then at the third sign she has "Honk if you like Pussy..." and a guy stops then a car crashes into him. Then you see the hidden part of the sign read "Honk if you like Pussycats" and she runs away confused. I found that funny also.

Also in the fake pop song "I'll be your back door lover, or boyfriend" (I don't remember what) I thought it was a a sexual reference. Though I don't find that funny so much as a joke; I think others would.
