Review of Joshua (2006) by Arnab B — 11 Jul 2008
"Psychological thriller" yeah right! Give me a crew and probably even I can make a better 'thriller' myself.
"The story of a perfect boy who had a perfect plan." Yeah, if there was any plan that was of the author's to get you bored as hell, and then end it with a stupid... unbelievably crappy ending. Perhaps it is his idea of 'shock' for the audience.
One of the worse movies I have ever seen. One star for the acting (the child acted well I think), and one and a half for whatever moments of suspense that was there. Minus two for the crappy script, another minus one for dragging the story. But alas, the worse rating that I can give has to be atleast half a star.
Oh and can somebody please tell the musician that piano is not the only instrument in the world? It was very annoying at times, when you couldn't guess if Joshua is playing the piano, or if the piano sound is acting as a 'suspense' music.
You may like it if you want to watch a bad movie and set the right expectations. Otherwise, this is a complete waste of time.
