Review of Joseph: King of Dreams (2000) by Zeldagiygaslord 6 — 04 Apr 2012
Kinda like a prequel to Prince of Egypt, King of Dreams makes an incredibly noble effort to hold a candle to the former, especially for a direct-to-video flick. The animation is good considering that fact (though still looking like shit when compared to POE, but that's not saying a whole lot), and they stay true to the idea of humanizing and adding personal emotions to the Biblical story.
It starts out somewhat sappy and slow, but give it time and it will definitely grow on you. This agnostic recommends it highly!
