Josh Brolin gives a great performance as Jonah Hex, the ugly, gritty and likable protagonist of this movie, which also has a really powerful opening and a good score. But then we're presented with cartoony villains, nonsensical action, a plot that's all over the place and Razzie worthy performances from everyone but Brolin, all of which make Jonah Hex an awful film, and a great disappointment.
