It does portray how f***ed up the holocaust was, but tells a heartfelt story about a German kid in the holocaust with no sense of what was really going on. Taika Waititi surprised me with "What We do in the Shadows", "Thor: Ragnarok", and now "Jojo Rabbit".
I think might be the best feel good movie of the year.
