A beautiful movie and Jane Wyman looked so lovely in black and white! She plays a deaf mute girl who lives with her father and aunt on a dairly farm along the shore in Nova Scotia. She is raped and has a baby - and the plot thickens! Great old classic that I've only just seen for the first time.
So happy that I did.
