Keanu Reeves spends the first 20 minutes of this movie reminding us he can act then spends the next hour 20 shooting guys. I loved it, it came exactly as I expected, lots of revenge delivered with very little dialogue with a facial expression only Keanu can maintain.
And yet this movie is not like others in this genre. Combining the emotion and excellent minimalist backstory of the opening portion, this movie has much more feel to it than some others. This is played largely by just how sorry you feel for Wick the deeper into his past you go.
Great movie with more there than you first see.
