John Wick is silly, un-practical, chaotic...and it knows it damn well. Although the first act tries to sell itself seriously which doesn't work, this film unravels relatively well how it is in a way, so over the top that it is a parody of stylized cheesy 80s action.
Except the action is of course shot so magnificently well and crafted so beautifully.
