All you really have to know about "John Wick" is that it is a blast. The action scenes in this movie are stylish and a lot of fun. The movie gets's you on board early on and Keanu Reeve's character becomes easy to empathize with.

I do think there are some slow patched in the movie but the action scenes to make up for it. The movie also makes the creative choice to just throw you in this world kind of in the middle of this character's story arch.

I think if a prequel is released down the line, I would definitely be more than willing to watch it. The visual style and the way the movie is directed is a refreshing change for the action genre. I felt I could always keep up with what is going on in every scene.
