Review of John Tucker Must Die (2006) by Galaxy Quest P — 20 Apr 2012

I honestly couldn't stand this movie! John Tucker Must Die is a movie that's so derivative that you can not enjoy it. I know this movie tries to be this cute Comedy with some hysterical moments, but really it's not at all a cute movie, it's just some dumb chick flick with cheap laughs.

I know the typical teen girl will love this movie because they will fall for the terrible romance and horrible characters. I really think this movie literally picked the worst set of actors to play in this, they actually casted Ashanti to play Heather the head cheerleader, which is already cliched enough.

Than they got Brittany Snow to play the nerdy girl and they got Arielle Kebbel to play the smart girl and again more with the cliches. Also Jessie Metcalfe who probably plays the worst role in this movie plays the character John Tucker the typical douche bag popular guy, who breaks all woman's hearts.

Lastly the character Beth is played by Sophia Bush and she is the animal lover/school slut and honestly I think that's the only thing in this movie that's really funny. I think the character Beth is pretty funny herself, but her character is not cliched and she's actually enjoyable to watch, but unfortunately she's not the main character in this movie the two main characters are Brittany Snow and Jessie Metcalfe and honestly that's just torture because those two actors are just god awful.

But anyways I could go on and on about how stupid and cliched this movie is, but honestly I don't care this movie is just awful I would not recommend it to anyone.
