For genre buffs, A new Don Coscarelli film is almost like an event. His previous cult classic Bubba Ho-Tep was an exercise in pure imagination, and in 'John Dies at the End' he raises the bar with a totally insane plot involving inter-dimensional beings and hallucinogenics aka.
soya sauce. With sharp and hilarious dialogue and some incredibly inventive horror Coscarelli nails the tone and delivers a mind-bending plot that demands repeat viewings. This is one awesome flick!
