Review of John Dies at the End (2013) by Jarl A — 18 Aug 2013
Surrealism is alive and well in Don Coscarelli's latest movie. The visual effects are mostly non-CGI, and the film wears its low budget status as a badge of honor. Confusion and paranoia are well represented, plot coherence is not.
Ever wonder what psychosis is like? It's like this movie, but all the time. Now, haven't we all waited long enough for Phantasm V?!
