"A Princess of Mars" was the very first book my mom ever bought me. She got it for my in 1974 when I was 6 years old. Ever since "STAR WARS" was released in 1977, I've been waiting for this movie to be made. Then a few years ago, I saw the name come up on IMDB and it stated that it was "In pre-production." And I let out a yell. I was so happy, FINALLY, somebody was going to do this. I've read, and own, the entire series of books.
So, what did I think of it?
I saw it TEN TIMES and I bought the DVD. That should let you know what I think of it.
As far as I am concerned - it is one of the best Science Fiction movies ever made. I'll take "JOHN CARTER" over any of the "STAR WARS" movies any day of the week.
