John Carter has become one of my favorite all-time movies, on that I will watch over and over again. I remember when it came out, but did not understand at all what it was about, so I didn't watch it.
I accidentally stumbled on it a year or so later, and loved it. It is fantastic in every way. I had never heard of ERB's novels, so it was all new. Really wish they would make the sequels. I think it must have failed due to poor marketing.
