Review of John Carter (2012) by Jacob B — 16 Aug 2016
It doesn't quite live up to not only its source material A Princess of Mars but also director Andrew Stanton's animated directorial efforts (i.e. Finding Nemo and WALL-E) but John Carter's visual dazzle, great performances and breathtaking action sequences more than compensate for the film's weak characterizations.
