Review of John Carter (2012) by Bob F — 24 Mar 2014
I passed up going to see this film in the theatres because the trailers looked wrong to me. However, I recently watched it on TV and was pleasantly surprised. It kept my interest throughout and the graphics were very good.
I have a fondness for the story because I still recall that, when I was very young, the series about John Carter and Mars completely camptured my imagination and I read every book. While the movie does not match my youthful vision of this story, it was good enough and interesting.
