The only thing wrong with this movie was the name "John Carter" which offers nothing to draw an audience. Also the advertising for this movie was not successful since when I saw it no one I knew had even heard of it.
That said it was one of the best and most enjoyable movies I have ever seen. Totally immersive...like seeing Starwars for the first time. It delivered action, plot, great characters, great cast, awesome setting, and is the one of the best book to movie adaptations I have ever seen.
