Review of John Carter (2012) by Nilsy — 03 May 2015
This is the old time style of sci-fi, easy to tell this is based on a very very old book, before science fiction became cynical number crunching but instead was wild imaginations similar to the jule verne books like journey to the center of the earth and the like.
It like the old star wars movies thread a close call to comedy but think this has the right amount of charm to pull it off.
If you can suspend your own sense of disbelief you'll have a wonderful time.
