Review of Joe Versus the Volcano (1990) by Kevin V — 27 Nov 2009

There is magic in this movie if you take the time to find it. If only all of us could go through life with a great set of luggage... I admit, this movie may miss on the first or even second viewing. But after coming back to this movie over time, I began to see the different levels to this story better and found the subtle humor even more enjoyable.

It won't be for everyone for sure, but it is one of those movies that is a keeper for me as I can see myself watching it again and again and seeing something different each time. And well, who can't help liking Meg Ryan not in one but three different roles!
