Review of Jobs (2013) by Carson H — 11 Dec 2013
"Here's to the crazy ones - the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently - they're not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.".
JOBS is an interesting film, which left me conflicted as a viewer. Kutcher's performance was excellent. The portrayal of the cold, callous world of business was true and spot-on. The film showed what one man chose to become in his quest to let nothing stop himself on the path to greatness, and the one moment that could have somewhat redeemed his personal nature was omitted from the film entirely.
You cannot help but be inspired by his innovation while you may (or may not) be shocked by his choices and how he was treated along the way. In the end, though, it was his vision that changed the world and that vision was great.
