Review of Jobs (2013) by David P — 10 May 2018
Though Ashton Kutcher looks very much like Steve Jobs, this movie falls very flat. This movie just felt like a rush to capitalize on the news of Jobs death. Many inaccuracies but those don't make a good or bad movie.
The story is not at all exciting which does not do the exciting and troubling life Steve jobs had justice. Ashton Kutcher isn't very good in the role, the first scene where you see an old Steve Jobs presenting the Ipod is awful, as the direction falls flat and all you could really see is Ashton Kutcher wearing a lot of makeup.
Josh Gad is very fun to watch and has some good comedic lines. The first half of the movie is watchable, it feels very much like a tv show and not at all like a feature film, this movie belongs on the Lifetime channel.
Basically if you want to watch it out of interest for Steve Jobs; as I did, then watch everything until he gets fired from apple; no spoilers it happened already. Everything after Steve Jobs being fired from Apple is boring and confusing and it's a struggle to finish.
It's interesting up until it isn't.
