Review of Jobs (2013) by Megan P — 07 Dec 2013
Let me start by saying that Ashton Kucher did a great job in this role (though I admit I may be a bit biased because he reminds me of my brother and gives me warm fuzzies). Unfortunately the writer of this movie missed a huge opportunity.
He focused on Jobs building, getting kicked out of and coming back to (with a tinge of revenge) Apple. Very little about his personal life, his character or (most importantly for a movie) character development.
Jobs is an interesting person, and it is that we want to know more about. Another angle that would have been more compelling is that of Jobs experience as an entrepreneur. What's it like to change the world?
