Review of Jingle All the Way (1996) by Melvin W — 11 Dec 2011
The main core story of this movie is about a Dad out on a mission to find that all important, best-selling toy for his son. I can relate to this story as when I was younger my folks went through the same ordeal getting me the 'Star Wars' Millenium Falcon starship toy.
Back in those days sending off mail order from London seemed like a big deal. Anyway lot's of colour and good cheer in this movie, very festive and good wacky, not to be taken serious humour. The movie in my opinion is great in concept and the comical drama unfolding.
Where it makes me frown is the end scene and an unrealistic battle between 'Turbo Man' and his Nemisis, but as I said can be got away with due to the nature of the movie. All good fun for the family.
