Review of Jingle All the Way (1996) by Alan W — 27 Dec 2010
Ok First of all this Movie should be seen as an Childs Movie cause they will have the most Fun with it. The Story evolves around a hard working Father who has forgotten to buy his sun a Present of Christmas so he starts to search for it.
Arnie fits in the role perfectly. But I think that the role of Turboman was fitting more. The other Characters are fitting too and the performances are from really bad to solid. The Story and setting is very Childisch and without some Surprises.
I found it to be boring and I just watched it to the End cause I thought something good Happens. And it has some good Scenes. The Action was not that good except the Fight of Arnie against this other Guy at the End.
The Effects were really bad but the Costumes were good. Especially Turbo Mans Costume. The Jokes and Gags were sometimes really bad or too childisch to be funny and sometimes really good (like the Running Gag with the Cop).
All in all it's a good Family Movie for Christmas time but it's way too Childisch and too Dumb at times. I didn't enjoyed it that much but Familys with little Kids could have fun with this.
