Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Pat W — 24 Sep 2007
The main flaw of the film is it's length. I do not understand why filmmakers so often are afraid to cut scenes out of a film. The result is some unnecessary slow spots that really hurt the full effect of the film.
The acting is top notch, especially Laura Linney. It's a good story, and a fine character study, it's just too bad the filmmaker was unwilling to part with some of his precious film.
