Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Neil K — 27 Oct 2007
I liked this. A wonderfully slow film that is less about the pure narrative (about four men that go fishing and find a corpse of a murdered indigenous Australian) than its critique of country Australian life - counterpoising the idyllic beauty of the land with the socail tensions that people ensure while living in small communities.
Great acting.
