Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Christine B — 18 Nov 2007
Great to finally see Gabriel Byrne in a leading role and of course, he was excellent! This is a morality tale about respect for the dead and although quiet and brooding, the scenery is amazing and the performances first rate.
Laura Linney is also exceptional as Claire Kane and it's through her eyes that we see the consequences of the men's actions while on their fishing trip. A very worthwhile rental!
