Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Veronica N — 22 Apr 2008
A slow, sometimes plodding film that feels like you are evesdropping on the characters a lot of the time. It's a slice of real life in New South Wales, complete with racism, poor judgement, and strained family dynamics.
There's a lot to take in, and the relationships portrayed are strong and richly developed. Well worth watching.
