Review of Jimmy and Judy (2006) by Fabio C — 06 Sep 2007
A love story between two misfits, Jimmy and Judy is a movie that has just one interesting element - the way it's shot. Directors decided to shoot the whole movie with an handheld camera, handled by the two main stars, Edward Furlong (Terminator 2) and Rachael Bella (The Ring), who are now husband and wife.
This POV perspective is really fresh and original (we'll have to see how it's gonna be used in J.J. Abrams produced Cloverfield). Unfortunately, it's the movie itself that's really unoriginal and boring.
It's a very classic dysfunctional love story, with no new elements or plot points. Avoidable.
