Review of Jimmy and Judy (2006) by Matthew M — 08 Apr 2009
Loved the flick and the whole "fuck the world" mentality. Just sucks that Edward Furlong has become another statistic in the Child Star Tragedy, would have loved to see what would have happened if he didn't make horrible decisions in his life but anyway.
Loved the flick, the two main stars had great chemistry together (of course, they're a real life couple) Def. was a rollercoaster, just when you think it's going to get a bit boring, something crazy happens just bring back wow factor.
The whole first person perpective that's been done mulitple times in hollywood, doesn't ruin the entire look and feel of the film since it feels extremely real. Guess the message behind the film is blind love, a chick looking for some kind of relationship falls for the first guy who shows her romantic interests and throws all caution to the wind and in the long run, ruining her own life without caring what's going around her.
Flick takes a crazy turn at the end where they pretty much get into something completely over their heads. In the end, love ends tragically when Judy turns into the ultimate "ryde or die chick".
