Review of Jigsaw (2017) by Anna V — 13 Aug 2018
Honestly, I loved this instalment in the Saw franchise. With this being the eighth movie, you'd think we'd be tired and that the plot would just flop, especially for long-time fans of the series.
I was pleasantly surprised when there were more plot twists in this film and that even though the timeline was a little confusing, it made sense in the end. Tobin Bell's John Kramer will always be an iconic piece of horror movie history and this movie thankfully didn't disgrace the series for me.
There were small nods to past deaths and the plot twists intertwined with the past movies as to not pollute the franchise's already set story line. Jigsaw definitely lived up to it's predecessors to me and is well worth a watch.
