Intelligent without the Dan Brown hostility for anything biblical. The most original film about Jesus I've seen; beaming with imagination and confidence. Fresh, provocative, funny. The images and situations are unforgettable.
I love the scene where the two 'Mary's escort the dying Jesus to the subway...
