One of the best rock operas around. It makes Jesus seem more human with fear of death like any person would be, and it's just awesome. The singing and music is great. Ted Neeley is awesome on "Gethsemane" and Carl Anderson is just bad ass as Judas.
Plus I like how it doesn't make Judas seem like the bad guy, really no one is a bad guy, everyone is just afraid of dying, plus everyone misunderstands Jesus, No one kills him because they hate him.
