What more to say? Simply the best. If you are a Christian, this film is particularly engaging as it meanders Jesus' live through Judas's perspective. Interesting metaphysical dilemma. In some way, Jesus more "real" and connectable then Mel Gibson The Passion.
Unforgettable music. After hearing Yvonne Elliman or Ted Needly sing, everyone else sounds like an understudy. Dont see the 2000 production, not even worthwhile to compare. This is ground breaking at its day and such a classic that it cannot be remade.
stunning cinematography. Interplay b/w the modern and past add another dimension to the film.
