There is really something sweet about this movie. Ben's acting was odd at times, but when he was the sweet dad or the enraged dad, he was awesome. The plot was touching and the connection Kevin Smith made with Ben and Raquel was cute.
Will Smith's cameo was great. George Carlin's role was wonderful as the cranky grandpa. Decent work.
