Review of Jersey Girl (2004) by Christopher S — 14 Jun 2012
Good script and the brilliant acting by Raquel Castro saves this film from being a total loss. I am very surprised that she hasn't been in anything since then. Perhaps the curse of Ben Affleck afflicted her career from getting started.
The one good scene was the end with Affleck and Will Smith as they talk about their children and how the kids affect their lives. The scene with the Sweeney Todd was good too. George Carlin is very good as the grandfather Bart but Ben Affleck plays the same character he does in every film; Liv Tyler too.
Good thing she is cute and isn't a complete moron. These two keep the film from being a true success.
