Review of Jersey Boys (2014) by Katie M — 27 Jun 2014
I saw Jersey Boys after long anticipation with hopes that it would come to the big screen. I wanted to see it especially with Tony Winner John Lloyd Young in the lead. When I went I was floor, it was by far the best movie I have seen since Mama Mia. It started slow, which I under stand laying the ground work for what was to be the essence of The Four Seasons. Once it started it and by the time it finished I was on such a high that I am going back multiple times to see this movie. John Lloyd Young was great as Frankie Valli and the other members of the Fours Seasons three of them being from different versions of the theatre production were great as well. Clint Eastwood did a great job and the movie is worth a see over and over and over.
John Lloyd Young has proven to make the role his, he will be known as Frankie Valli because of the quality of what he put into the character and the Tenor falsetto that he has. I predict we will see more from this man. Don't listen to the critics this movie is a feel good movie.
