I'm not a "movie musical" lover, that said Jersey Boys entertains pleasantly. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons music takes me back to pleasant childhood memories. I never saw the stage play and did not know the groups history until now.
It seems there's there always a need to compare mediums. For me this was an enjoyable well crafted film that stands alone.
