The movie was an all around hit. When reading reviews and such I kind of had a pretty good idea of what I was going to expect from this movie.
When it came to actually watching it I got more than what I expected. I got drawn into the music and thusly into the characters and each of their lives. I'd go out and buy this movie for myself. My friends don't really like this era of music, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying it myself.
